- 3 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1-inch slice fresh ginger, grated or minced
- 3 light-green chilies, seeded too finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon asafetida
- pinch of cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- small handful of fresh cilantro or parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon body of body of water salt, or to taste
Instructions: Rinse the black-eyed peas too soak for half dozen hours or overnight. Drain too rinse too then transfer to medium saucepan too add together the turmeric too ii cups of water.
