Elizabeth Baughman Lewis went from helping schoolchildren larn their ABCs to helping unmarried adults larn the ABCs of dating.
After 25 years of teaching, she was looking toward retirement.
“I checked what my benefits would live on 2 years earlier I was eligible to retire,” she says. “When I saw what the bottom business was, I thought, ‘Oh, no, I can’t afford to retire.’” I was a widow together with raising 2 children on my own. But a calendar month afterwards it occurred to me that inwards 2 years, I would entirely live on 49, together with I could retire from instruction alongside sum benefits together with start a whole novel career. I but didn’t know what that career would be.”
So Elizabeth sat downwards together with brainstormed a listing of possible careers ranging from flying attendant to director of a medical constituent to life coach.
Life autobus won out. She genuinely hired a life autobus to guide her inwards becoming a life coach. Pretty smart. Elizabeth got her certification inwards 2014 from the Coaches Training Institute inwards Chicago.
“At the institute, they encouraged me to discovery a niche,” she says. “Prior to this, inwards 2011, I had founded Singles Meet Singles LLC to connect together with back upwards other singles, together with thus I combined my life coaching skills together with dating consultant skills.”
She launched her minute career alongside Love together with Laughter Life Coaching. Elizabeth holds one-on-one sessions alongside clients roofing areas such equally setting together with achieving goals, moving through life’s transitions, together with personal evolution — e'er alongside the focus on positive change. She equally good holds weekly grouping classes roofing Life, Love together with Dating together with other grouping sessions.
Elizabeth has hosted a 13-week call-in radio exhibit together with is planning on writing a book, alongside the working championship Dating 911, that combines what she has learned from her reading, her clients, together with her ain experiences. She continues to host events for Singles Meet Singles.
